Old Mutual go2sea — Ride the Beloved Country A 600 km point-to-point across South Africa, from the Maluti foothills at Clarens to the Indian Ocean at Salt Rock. Six stages of singletrack through Berg and Bush country, the Karkloof Nature Reserve, the valleys of rural Zululand and the Holla Trails, with ±11 000 m of climbing and ±12 000 m of descent between the mountains and the coast. The journey matters more than the destination here. For most riders it's a hard, rewarding week in the saddle; for a few at the front, it's a race. It ends the same way for everyone — at the sea, at the Salt Rock finish dinner.
